ZERO : KEJUJURAN

Suatu hari ada seorang Bapak yang sangat kaya raya, bisnisnya sudah merambah keseluruh dunia, dan salah satu kegemarannya adalah mengoleksi barang barang antik yang harganya miliaran . Salah satubarang yang paling dia cintai adalah guci dari Cina , setiap pagi sebelum berangkat kerja dia membelai dan mengagumi betapa cantiknya guci itu, harganya lebih 6 milliar. Suatu sore, sepulang kerja didapatinya guci yang ia cintainya pecah dan hancur berkeping keping, raut mukanya merah padam, matanya merah, dia benar benar marah bahkan mungkin murka , maka dia tanya satu persatu seluruh keluarganya mulai dari istri, anak, pembantu tetapi tidak ada satupun yang mengakuinya karena takut kepadanya, kemarahannya semakin menjadi . Pada saat mencapai puncak amarahnya, dalam waktu yang bersamaan dari arah pinturumah , datang anaknyayang baru kelas 1 SD dan bilang " Maafkan Ade papa, Ade yang menjatuhkan guci papa yang paling papa sayangi " Jawaban spontan dan mengejutkan semua termasuk ibu dan bapak tersebut. Kemarahan sang bapak langsung cair dan dia mendekati anaknya yang berdiri menangis , sang bapak berkata " Memang guci ini papa beli mahal nak, namun kejujuranmu lebih mahal dari harga guci ini , kau hebat, kau inspirasi buat papa, kalau guci ini bisa dibeli , namun kejujuranmu tidak bisa dibeli nak "

Lesson Study sebagai Media Pembelajaran bagi Guru Matematika

ABSTRAK
Tuntutan kurikulum mengharuskan guru matematika membuat inovasi baru dalam belajar mengajar. Untuk mendapatkan inovasi-inovasi tersebut, guru matematika diharapkan dapat saling berbagi dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berupa lesson study.

A. Latar Belakang
Dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Indonesia, pemerintah melakukan berbagai macam usaha termasuk mervisi kurikulum. Pergantian Kurikulum 1994 menjadi Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi tentunya dan direvisi kembali menjadi Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) diharapkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Indonesia. Faktanya saat ini, guru belum begitu terdidik melaksanakan berbagai perubahan yang dituntut kurikulum bersangkutan.
Perubahan di sini salah satunya berupa inovasi baru yang harus ditemukan oleh guru dalam menyampaikan materi agar lebih mudah dimengerti oleh siswanya. Dalam upaya tersebut, guru mencari berbagai macam cara untuk berinovasi yang salah satunya dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Lesson Study. Lesson Study pertama kali dikembangkan oleh para guru pendidikan dasar di Jepang, yang dalam bahasa Jepang disebut dengan istilah kenkyuu jugyo. Makoto Yoshida adalah orang yang dianggap berjasa besar dalam mengembangkan kenkyuu jugyo di Jepang.
Saat ini, Lesson Study mulai gencar disosialisasikan di Indonesia untuk dijadikan sebagai sebuah model pembelajaran dalam rangka meningkatkan proses pembelajaran siswa, bahkan pada beberapa sekolah sudah mulai dipraktikkan. Lalu, mampukah Lesson Study sebagai media pembelajaran menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan inovasi bagi guru matematika di Indonesia?

B. Pembahasan
a. Definisi Lesson Study
Lesson Study bukan suatu strategi atau metode pembelajaran, melainkan salah satu upaya pembinaan untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh sekelompok guru secara kolaboratif dan berkesinambungan, dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, mengobservasi dan melaporkan hasil pembelajaran. Lesson Study merupakan kegiatan terus menerus yang tanpa henti dan merupakan sebuah upaya untuk mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip dalam Total Quality Management, yakni memperbaiki proses dan hasil pembelajaran siswa secara terus-menerus, berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi sekelompok guru tersebut.
Kegiatan Lesson Study merupakan kegiatan yang dapat mendorong terbentuknya sebuah komunitas belajar (learning society) secara konsisten dan sistematis melakukan perbaikan diri. Slamet Mulyana (Akhmad Sudrajat.2008) memberikan rumusan tentang Lesson Study sebagai salah satu model pembinaan profesi pendidik melalui pengkajian pembelajaran secara kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan berlandaskan pada prinsip-psrinsip kolegalitas dan mutual learning untuk membangun komunitas belajar. Sementara itu, Catherine Lewis (Akhmad Sudrajat.2008) mengemukakan pula tentang ciri-ciri esensial dari Lesson Study[2], yaitu:
1. Tujuan bersama untuk jangka panjang.
Lesson study didahului adanya kesepakatan dari para guru tentang tujuan bersama yang ingin ditingkatkan dalam kurun waktu jangka panjang dengan cakupan tujuan yang lebih luas.
2. Materi pelajaran yang penting.
Lesson study memfokuskan pada materi atau bahan pelajaran yang dianggap penting dan menjadi titik lemah dalam pembelajaran siswa serta sangat sulit untuk dipelajari siswa.
3. Studi tentang siswa secara cermat.
Fokus yang paling utama dari Lesson Study adalah pengembangan dan pembelajaran yang dilakukan siswa.
4. Observasi pembelajaran secara langsung.
Observasi langsung boleh dikatakan merupakan jantungnya Lesson Study. Untuk menilai kegiatan pengembangan dan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan siswa tidak cukup dilakukan hanya dengan cara melihat dari Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (Lesson Plan) atau hanya melihat dari tayangan video, namun juga harus mengamati proses pembelajaran secara langsung.

b. Tahapan Lesson Study
Berkenaan dengan tahapan-tahapan dalam Lesson Study ini, dijumpai beberapa pendapat. Menurut Slamet Mulyana ada tiga tahapan dalam Lesson Study[3], yaitu:
1. Perencanaan (Plan)
2. Pelaksanaan (Do)
3. Refleksi (See)
Sedangkan Bill Cerbin dan Bryan Kopp dari University of Wisconsin mengetengahkan enam tahapan dalam Lesson Study, yaitu:
1. Form a Team
Membentuk tim sebanyak 3-6 orang yang terdiri guru yang bersangkutan dan pihak-pihak lain yang kompeten serta memilki kepentingan dengan Lesson Study.
2. Develop Student Learning Goals
Anggota tim memdiskusikan apa yang akan dibelajarkan kepada siswa sebagai hasil dari Lesson Study.
3. Plan the Research Lesson
Guru-guru mendesain pembelajaran guna mencapai tujuan belajar dan mengantisipasi bagaimana para siswa akan merespons.
4. Gather Evidence of Student Learning
Salah seorang guru tim melaksanakan pembelajaran, sementara yang lainnya melakukan pengamatan, mengumpulkan bukti-bukti dari pembelajaran siswa.
5. Analyze Evidence of Learning
Tim mendiskusikan hasil dan menilai kemajuan dalam pencapaian tujuan belajar siswa
6. Repeat the Process
Kelompok merevisi pembelajaran, mengulang tahapan-tahapan mulai dari tahapan ke-2 sampai dengan tahapan ke-5 sebagaimana dikemukakan di atas, dan tim melakukan sharing atas temuan-temuan yang ada.

The Library of Congress is the oldest federal cultural institution in the United States and it is the largest library in the world. The Library's primary mission is research and it receives copies of every book, pamphlet, map, print, and piece of music registered in the United States. Recently, the Library of Congress signaled to us that the public tweets we have all been creating over the years are important and worthy of preservation.Since Twitter began, billions of tweets have been created. Today, fifty-five million tweets a day are sent to Twitter and that number is climbing sharply. A tiny percentage of accounts are protected but most of these tweets are created with the intent that they will be publicly available. Over the years, tweets have become part of significant global events around the world—from historic elections to devastating disasters.It is our pleasure to donate access to the entire archive of public Tweets to the Library of Congress for preservation and research. It's very exciting that tweets are becoming part of history. It should be noted that there are some specifics regarding this arrangement. Only after a six-month delay can the Tweets be used for internal library use, for non-commercial research, public display by the library itself, and preservation.The open exchange of information can have a positive global impact. This is something we firmly believe and it has driven many of our decisions regarding openness.
