SIMILARITY AND CONGRUENCY

In this chapter, students will learn about similarity and congruency. The concept of similarity and congruency are an important concept in basic geometry. Sub chapter 1.1 students are introduced to the concept of similarity. Students learn about similar figures and the characteristics of similarity of figures. As a continuation of the similarity concept, in Sub chapter 1.2 students learn about the concept of congruency. Sub chapter 1.3 students apply the concept of similarity and congruency to specific geometric figures namely triangles. Moreover, Sub chapter 1.4 gives students recreational material, tesselation, involving the concept of similarity and congruency.
